Description

Summary

I am in my final year of a BEng in Computer and Autonomous Systems at the University of Wollongong in Dubai, graduating in June 2027. My work sits where electrical and embedded hardware meets the people who have to use it.

That has meant CubeSat avionics at SpacePoint, antenna design and electromagnetic simulation at UOWD, and founding Vantage Vision, an assistive wearable for blind and visually impaired users. Across all three, the part I care about most is the unglamorous part: checking a layout against the requirement before it goes to fabrication, and keeping the records straight so the next person can follow what changed.

Founder & Lead Engineer

Vantage Vision Dubai, UAE
  • Lead electrical, embedded, hardware and AI development of an assistive wearable for blind and visually impaired users — concept through prototyping, integration and field testing.
  • Produce CAD models, enclosure and mechanical designs and assembly documentation in Fusion 360 and AutoCAD, managing revisions across successive builds.
  • Partner with the Al Noor Centre for Research, Innovation and Development (CRID) to co-develop and user-test directly with blind and visually impaired users, so the design answers real accessibility needs rather than assumptions.
  • Incubated at the Expo Changemakers Academy with an AED 50,000 grant from the Expo City Dubai Foundation. Covered by Khaleej Times and MENA FN.
Jul 2025 —
Jul 2026

Embedded Systems Engineering Intern

SpacePoint Dubai, UAE
  • Supported senior engineers on FPGA and MCU integration and embedded avionics for the CubeSat Command and Data Handling Subsystem (CDHS).
  • Designed, fabricated and tested PCBs and embedded hardware, checking schematics and layouts against design requirements before build.
  • Ran subsystem testing and hardware validation, recording measurements and maintaining the test records for the team.
Jun 2025 —
Jan 2026

Antenna Engineering Intern

University of Wollongong in Dubai Dubai, UAE
  • Designed and simulated antenna systems for wireless and wearable applications, iterating against defined performance targets.
  • Applied full-wave electromagnetic simulation, then collected and analysed measurement data for gain, efficiency and coverage.
  • Fabricated and bench-tested prototypes and wrote the supporting technical reports and design documentation.
Oct 2024 —
Jan 2026

Engineering Peer Tutor

University of Wollongong in Dubai Dubai, UAE
  • Mentored engineering students in core technical subjects, problem solving and laboratory exercises, explaining concepts to students from varied backgrounds.
May 2025 —
Jun 2025

Seasonal Trainee

Lumi.Network Dubai, UAE
  • Completed Stanford-affiliated Design Thinking training with Distinction, developing SereneAid, a burnout support concept for paramedics, and building the prototype in Figma.
